CROSS COUNTRY LEAGUE – REVISED DATES
January 12, 2010
Following the postponement of the recent race due to snow and ice, the remaining fixtures have been re-arranged as follows :
7 February Monkhall (Incorporating county championships)
28 February Presteigne (To include end of season awards)
Both races start at 11.00 AM
10th Jan Monkhall Farm race postponed

The Herefordshire Cross Country League race scheduled for Sunday 10th Jan at Monkhall Farm has been postponed.
The organisers feel that the underfoot conditions are potentially dangerous and the access roads to the race venue are icy and hazardous. So, for Health and Safety reasons, we have decided to postpone the event until conditions have improved.
The weather forecasts suggest that the icy conditions are due to continue for perhaps another week or more so we can not, as yet, appoint a replacement date. You will be informed as soon as a new date is arranged.
Apologies for the inconvenience, but we are sure that you will agree that the safety of the runners is paramount.

Here are the Wye Valley Club records that have been compiled so far. Thanks to those runners who’ve given their times. There are still quite a few gaps to fill, especially for the ladies and vets, so get looking! Quite a few times were taken from the UKA / Athletics Weekly ‘Power of 10′ site – hope no-one minds.
