Training for Hereford 1/2 Marathon on 16th May 2010

Anybody interested in joining a small, slow running group who are training for the Hereford ½ Marathon on the 16th May 2010

This is best for beginners and those who have done a ½ marathon in over 2 hours and would like to run sub 2 hours. Or if you would just like to run with us. Meeting once a week on a club night for a long slow road run.
Running as a group only

Starting on Wednesday 31st March 2010

Rowing club 6.15 10k in about 1 hour.

To be decided by running group ( mon wed or fri )

Week 2 7-8 miles slow about 70 minutes

Week 3 8-9 miles slow about 80 minutes

Week 4 9-10 miles slow about 90 minutes

Week 5 10-11 miles very slow

Week 6 9-10 miles slow about 90 minutes

Week 7 10k about 50 –55 minutes?

For those who want to, we can run as a group on race day start to finish in just under 2 hours
