Many thanks to all the runners, helpers and marshals for your support today. It really is a massive team effort to put on a race of this nature but very worthwhile based on the positive feedback we have received. Lots more about the race & pictures will be posted later but for now we will post the results so that you can check your positions and times.

BREINTON 10 COURSE INFORMATION

The course will have mile markers and a water station situated at the front of Breinton Village Hall so that you can take on water at 2.5 and 7 miles. It seems like it is going to be quite a warm day so its best to keep well hydrated. We will place mile markers around the course so that you can check your race pace and remember that the hardest section of the race is between 6 and 8 miles. The roads are not closed for this event so at all time...s, for your own safety and the safety of other competitors you must obey the Highway Code and rules of the road, direction signs and instructions of marshals. The majority of the course is run on quiet country lanes but please lookout for potholes which are quite bad in certain sections..
Two points that will be mentioned in the pre-race talk are:
At 3.6 miles you will reach the A438. You will be running on the A438 for approx 0.5miles. Please keep to the left hand side running on the paved section for as long as possible. This is a speed restricted stretch of road. We will have 2 marshals plus a number of large slow and caution runner signs to alert traffic to your presence. .
As you approach the finish running down Broomy Hill marshals will direct you into Belvedere Lane. There is likely to be exiting albeit slow moving traffic coming from the Rugby Club so please take extra care as you run down the lane which is a small distance from the finishing straight on the riverbank towpath..
Have a great race.
