Monday Social Club Run
Every Monday @ 6.15 pm join us for our weekly 4-mile social run from Hereford Leisure Centre. We run at a chatty pace and stop to regroup along the way. New members just turn up and say hello.
Wednesday Structured Training
Then every Wednesday @ 6.15 pm we have a four-weekly rolling programme utilising the Halo running track, county roads and trails.
week 1
Club Tempo Session- These sessions are designed to get you used to running at a sustained pace. We will help you get used to running longer and better as the weeks roll by. All abilities from the fast to the very slow and everything in between. Start locations vary and are usually on our team App - just ask for details.
week 2
Speed Session - On the track at Halo Leisure Centre, Hereford. A coaches session for everyone with warm-up drills, a timed session (so we all start and finish at the same time) and a warm-down. These sessions are for all abilities and everyone is welcome.
Week 3
Club Run - We aim to get off-road as much as we can on club runs, with hill rep sessions and loops around some of Hereford’s loveliest locations. These are times sessions where we start and finish at the same time. Start locations vary - we keep ourselves up to date on the club App - just ask for details.
Week 4
Club Speed Session - We go back to the track at Halo, Hereford for a coached session - building on our strength, speed, and pace.
Sunday Socials
We like to go off-road on a Sunday; meeting @ 9 am somewhere in our beautiful county. A relaxed 5 to 6-mile run at a chatty pace with stops on the way to take in the views. At the end of the run, we sometimes partake in coffee and cake. Suitable for all and well-behaved dogs. Details can be found on the team App, or send us a message.
We then repeat the four-weekly cycle - peppered with a bit of racing and maybe even some cross country.
We have numerous ad hoc social runs - the member’s app and Facebook page keep members up to date.
