Karen Messer is undertaking a project for St Michael's Hospice. She is trying to get Gary Barlow to attend a future St Michael's Fundraiser.
She's creating a fun 'pop video' style film where groups in Herefordshire mime along to the pop song 'Relight My Fire.' She will soon be filming fire fighters, St Michael Hospice nurses, a roller skating group and more . The key to the video's success is involving as many local people as possible and those people being diverse in ability, skill and age. Once finished, the video will be tweeted and put on Facebook.
Now its Wye Valley Runners turn! TURN UP AT 6PM ON Wednesday 11TH FEB JUST BEFORE WE RUN AND MIME A FEW LINES TO "RELIGHT MY FIRE" - WE WILL BE DONE BY RUN TIME!
It's a very odd request but it is a lot of fun and will turn into quite a lovely community project!

Congratulations to everyone who took part in this years winter league. The season started and finished in Powys - both marked by challenging and beautiful courses. Wye Valley did the league proud at Monkhall with a new course already being hailed a classic! Whilst the club were at times missing some of their more elite runners - particularly in the men's team - this was more than made up for by some great individual performances. The highlight of the season was a gold medal for the women's team who won the overall league title by one point- well done to them all.
This was Paul Boustons last year as Captain. It is a real tribute to him that in race after race Wye Valley Runners were consistently the most represented club in the league - nice one Paul. What a great legacy.
Our thanks as ever to all the volunteers, landowners and marshals. Specific thanks to Mike Blenkinsop, Tony Williams and Clive Rowberry - we really appreciate your hard work.
