The race goes ahead with a new start on the Great Western Way bridge at 11.15am. Please be aware that parking is not possible at the Rugby club. Therefore, please use the available public carparks in the area. Apologies for the short notice but mother nature has her own timetable !

The river level as unexpectedly risen again which is making for an interesting New Years Eve for the Wye Valley Runners Committee.

It now seems very likely that the towpath will be flooded tomorrow morning and in this event we will obviously not be able to finish on the towpath as usual. We have a contingency course which will be as as close to a 10k distance as possible but is not an accurately measured 10K course.

The contingency course will result in a 5-10min walk to the start line via Barton Road/Broomy Hill unless you want to get your feet wet. There may also be some disruption to our results service.
