In between the coughing and spluttering over my keyboard I've processed the results from the 10K, and the file below contains the latest update to the Frosty 5 series.
New Years Day 10K (handicap applied) & Frosty 5 standings after 5 races
NB: the latest update includes the points scored by Phil Butler during the Mortimer Forest 10.
The weather did its best to disrupt today's event but happily it went ahead under clear skies, although with a minor course alteration, and with 212 starters in was a keenly contested event.
The mens race was closely fought, with Luke Mosely (Hereford Tri Club) narrowly beating out James Richards (Wye Valley) and James Rose (Severn AC) respectively. In the ladies event the honours were taken by Myshola Kirkham (Coventry Godiva). Satu Haikala (Brecon AC) secured the runners up spot, and Niki Morgan (Chepstow) rounded out the placing positions.
In the team competition Wye Valley Runners won the men's competition while Hereford Tri Club clinched the ladies.
Many thanks to all our entrants for their understanding and valued feedback in slightly difficult conditions (best laid plans etc.). Please click the image above for the results, and we hope to see you all again soon!
Best Wishes
