With 5 races done the competition is beginning to come alive! Danca leads the women's team with Laura not far behind - with a race in hand. In the lads class Paul leads the field having ran 5 races but Steven Gurner Flowers is right on him also with a race in hand. Next up club 10k this Wednesday evening
On-line entries for the Spring 10k close tomorrow 26/5, we will accept entries on the day. There is a link to entry central on the home page of the Wye Valley Runners web site. The race will start and finish on the Great Western Way. This start/finish was used on New Years Day 10k 2015 and proved popular with the runners.
We have been appealing for weeks for runners to pay to secure places for this event but unfortunately while we have been waiting for payments from a third team the event has now closed.
The good news is that we have 2 mixed teams who have paid up and we will be in touch soon to confirm details
The lesson learnt here is we need early payment to avoid disappointment!!
Click here to join us for our annual 10 k race. It's starts on the Gt Western Bridge and rolls out over a lovely undulating course on quiet lanes. Only £6 for affiliated runners who register now
Paul and Danca take pole position as the competition begins to take off. Congratulations to them. Still 12 races to go so plenty of time to make your mark on the club competition.
